eom-dbg software package provides Eye of MATE graphics viewer program (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eom-dbg
eom-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eom-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eom-dbg *
You will get with eom-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
